Hello Parents & Students!
The upcoming weeks have many things in store for our class. We are just getting into the New year and our class is welcoming it with many fun activities. First and foremost I am looking forward to working with you and your student for the duration of the school year! This week will include learning about the nervous system and how our senses interact with it. The second big event we will continue in the classroom is reading "James and the Giant Peach" by Roald Dahl. The students will be able to practice comprehension skills and sequence of events through the use of various activities and games.
Together we can bring in the new year right!

This link allows your student to watch videos dealing with the nervous system at home. It also provides them with quizzes and games at the end of each video to check for understanding!
The students will also be exploring a discovery education video that includes information expanding on the 5 senses and how we use them everyday! You can view this with your child as often as you like!
